SCHOOL FORCE

The SchoolForce Reading Power Read-A-Thon

is NOW!

Reading Power is a fun two-week event that encourages the love of reading and raises money for your school. Students log the amount of time they read and collect pledges from friends and extended family to raise money for your school through SchoolForce, the Belmont-Redwood Shores Public Schools Foundation.

Last year, Belmont-Redwood Shores students read 2.5 million minutes to raise $324,000 to support their schools! Money raised from Reading Power benefits EVERY student in our school district by supporting literacy in many ways, including librarians, reading specialists, and many other enrichment staff and programs this year.

Watch for you student's Reading Power Packet which came home January 12th. The packet includes instructions, information about reading fun during the next two weeks and prizes too!

Questions? For more information, email: readingpower@schoolforce.org.

We thank you in advance for your family's participation in Reading Power!

Hello Cipriani families,

As you may have heard or witnessed SchoolForce handed out some mustaches, stickers, and flyers to celebrate the district fundraising season.

If you attended one of the town hall meetings last week, then you know why the money raised is critical to the quality of our children's education here at the Belmont / Redwood shores district and why it is more important than ever to raise more money.

In case you have not attended the meeting please click here to see the slides presented by superintendent Dr. Milliken.

Long story short, attendance in the district has grown and the budget has not and will not in the near future.

Click here if you want to donate!

The Belmont / Redwood Shores school district thank you for your support. If you have any questions please send me an email at volunteers@cipriani-pta-org
